210 Denier Nylon
First up we have 210 Denier Nylon. This fabric is a durable, lightweight woven nylon with a polyurethane finish on the underside, ensuring this material is waterproof. It is available in 152cm lengths and has a weight of 120gsm, it is our lightest material available in the range. Due to its light weight and water-resistant nature, applications include bags, satchels, backpacks, and camping applications. It comes in black, white, royal blue, yellow and red.

420 Denier Nylon
Very similar to the 210 denier nylon, 420 denier nylon is appropriate to use for bags, satchels and backpacks. Its weight is 160gsm, making it slightly thicker than the 210 denier nylon and therefore slightly more durable and sturdy, whilst still being waterproof. 420 denier nylon is available In the below colourways!

PVC/420 Denier Nylon
The PVC/420 Denier Nylon has an added PVC coating, making it 100% waterproof. On one side is the PVC coating and the woven nylon with polyurethane finish on the underside. The weight of the material also increases to 360gsm, making it thick and durable enough for higher applications to bags, satchels and accessories. Roll widths are 147cm and come in blue and black.

Cordura 1000 Nylon
Cordura is our strongest and most durable and nylon material available containing proprietary INVISTA fibres. It is a high-performance certified fabric ideally used for heavy duty nylon applications, being water repellent, with a fluorochemical finish on the front and the Waterproof polyurethane finish underside. It is tear, scuff, and abrasion resistant. Uses include Bags, Satchels, and General nylon applications. This material will provide the most protection against water and the elements. Cordura’s weight is 360gsm, the thickest available nylon at Ricky, and is available in red, black, and royal blue

PY500 Polyester
PV500 is the lightest of the two polyester options available, weighing 220gsm. Our polyester range is Water resistant, Fire retardant and UV stabilised. The main difference between our nylon range and polyester range is that the nylon outperforms the polyester in the waterproof category. With that said, the polyester has the added benefit of fire retardance and UV capabilities. Applications include protective covers, laundry bags, as well as bags, satchels, and camping applications. Colours include black, white, navy, maroon, royal blue and yellow.

PY600 Polyester
PY600 Polyester is ideal for medium scale applications, and the main difference between PY500 and PY600 is the rip-resistant nature of PY600. PY600 also has a polyurethane coated underside that makes it water resistant. This material is also UV stabilised, however does not have the same fire-retardant nature that PY500 does. Applications include backpacks, soft sided luggage, sports bags, camera and video bags, computer bags, protective covers, and bike accessories. PY600 comes in black and blue.
